Thank you. I do remember what a PBKDF is. What I'm asking what it is use for in the case where the database is encrypted with an OpenPGP key? Are you saying the problem is that OpenPGP doesn't specify a key derivation function for encrypting the OpenPGP key and uses the password as the key-encryption key directly?
