Hn, I have thoughts.
So, my whatever, hot take, is that magic is the birthright of everyone in this world. And something has stolen it from us. So I'm 100% opposed to hiding it, telling ppl they need to do things my way, setting a level of commitment for ppl to be 'allowed' to participate.
If someone is just enjoying how the witchy stuffs makes them feel and they don't rly get why? That's fine. If someone is doing magic selfishly? Okay. If ppl aren't sure what they believe but they show up, or read, or question? Okay.
Why? BC I believe that every single tiny bit of belief or acceptance adds something to the pool. Someone doing spells "just as a mind exercise" is still putting faith into that process. A teen trying to summon Slenderman is saying "I believe this is possible."
(But pls don't Tulpa Slendy, thx)
