If we had to be partly responsible for salvation, if the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross was insufficient, I would despair all Christians unsaved.

But I don't.

I don't and can't believe that Christ can fail to save any of those whom the Father sent Him to save

I don't believe that God in His sovereignty can fail to redeem His predestined people to Himself.

God grants His select creatures a God-loving disposition, freeing them from the selfish, God-hating nature and granting them new life in His Son.

This is what, by God's providence, the Reformers recovered.
