Bitcoin isn't "for everyone" anymore. It's for "us." "Normies" won't get it so might as well stop talking to them.
The left, in contrast, says "no my politics should be your politics. You SHOULD know about this stuff. it's for everyone." Of course their politics are wrong in many ways, but how they approach "the street" is very different.
