Even if Iran's industry gets completely flattened, they're likely going to be able to keep the Strait of Hormuz in peril for a long time to come. They're far more capable than the Houthis and had a lot of time to prepare for just such a situation. And it appears they've done just that. My guess is the only way it can be safely opened is a capitulation or the US side, or the US ends up invading Iran at least to the extent of holding the coastal areas from which attacks would launch.
