i swear that i was able to type better on touchscreen phones 10 years ago than now, also. the software has become so bloated and retarded that input latency has hit a certain level about 8 years ago that has never recovered from.
you can see it whenever i compose replies on a phone. never seem to be able to hit the spacebar consistently. and if it's not hitting the b key instead, i'm hitting the circle button or causing the damn bottom swipe-up movement.
the entire ui is seriously broken, if you ask me. how hard is it to make the damn button keys not active within 2 seconds of using the keyboard, or for that matter, why does the keyboard not obscure the controls, and how exactly is the swipe up swipe left swipe right gestures a solution, that's more processing, more latency.
yeah, i want a redesign too.
