Ugh. Problem with allowing Tankies in your group or coalition, no matter what nominal cause you are organizing around, their *primary* interest in it is as a vehicle to promote their organization. Because they believe that the ultimate solution to all problems is supremacy of their Party.

In Seattle, all the direct actionists, had one goal: shut down the Ministerial. That's it. No one was conniving to get their people on the Steering Committee. (There was no such hierarchy). No one was worried how the DA would look on the news. If the media would be able to use any of it to make them look bad, and so hurt their recruitment/or relationship with electeds.
