That seems most insightful & apposite, afaict. There was a time when i was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt, & assume his #CunningPlan was to lull the tories into a false sense of security before unleashing his masterstroke. Alas, now afaict he's merely given them a true sense of security, which when we contemplate their ghastliness & uselessness, reinforces the catastrophe his term seems to have been. Actually no that's a bit premature. If potato actually somehow wins next election, then yes this term will have been catastrophic. Otoh as many of us here are hoping, if next term is a labor minority with heapsa greens & prog indies, then this term whilst hugely disappointing, will be seen as an on-ramp to better things.
