If hosts can’t keep up with multiple values for the medium tag, then introducing a new one seems unlikely to solve anything for you.
I would imagine your current approach to identifying music casts is something like: "all shows with N+ valueTimeSplits pointing to remote items with the medium=music" What’s the downside to that approach?
