You probably know about this, but for anyone who wants to check if your #nativeplants are native, you can get a quick range map for just about any species native to or naturalized into North America here: https://bonap.net/NAPA/Genus/Traditional/County The only catch is you need to know the botanical name. In the US it shows county-level presence, but in Canada it seems to only be at the province level. Still, it's pretty cool.
