The Monero community is divided. On one side are collectivist-leaning perspectives, on the other strongly market-oriented actors, with liberals, libertarians, and anarchists in between who reject collectivism. This diversity makes it a fitting environment for fungible money.

Hey, I can help :)
Send me the NomadNet test page
You can also peer with my transport node or I can add yours?
My transport node:
https://deavmi.assigned.network/blog/offering_reticulum_services/
After adding it you should be able to join the greater Reticulum network and then I can reach your NomadNet page.
Is anyone else having terrible throughput with #Reticulum as of late.
A few months ago (I hadn't upgraded) things were working fine.
Now it hardly works. And I am NOT the only one.
reasonable capital commitment held in a trust to assure that the logistical issues can be addressed and that It is going to be worth my time
Hi good to hear from you. Once we move past the initial seller launch phase, you’ll be able to use it as a buyer on simplifiedprivacy.net
In fact, the interface is already setup now for your to preview, and you’ll be able to try/use it within the next few days.
Yes sure we allow that, but you'd need to be able to recieve from all of those numbers when a buyer requests it.
Hi, thanks for writing in. Yes this is a legitimate concern, however there are a number of protections to help against this. The first point is that it’s 3 rounds, and if the buyer disputes all 3, then it spits the money among the 3 sellers. So the bigger risk is that your number uniquely doesn’t work, but the other sellers’ numbers do.
The second point is that it doesn’t count towards that service for your number. For example if it’s a Google account, then your number is still “unsold” or available for a future Google account sale. So you don’t lose that much.
A final point is that once the system has been going on longer, we can then adopt a trust score system. Where after a certain point, the Exchange can feel comfortable siding with the seller immediately in a dispute.
Most likely yes. This would only deny one from making a fully encrypted device. Having an encrypted mount would still be possible.
I was in the process of moving some stuff away from Ubuntu and onto NixOS servers. Now I got a reason more to switch everything. Fuck Ubuntu.
I agree. But it is different after LSD/Shrooms and probably DMT (with after I mean if you took a bigger dose once, not hours after the other).
It can be quite nice with a partner as well, but I feel like it slows down ones mental space for some time, so I personally don't like doing it very often.
Candyflipping is intense. Maybe start with regular LSD/Shrooms trip first.
Then you can do it with someone you like and trust in a safe place.
Also try to leave at least 30 days between MDMA sessions. Even better 3 or 6 month.
Also please test your stuff before using it (test kits aren't that expensive).
Have fun and safe trips :)
I just reference myself here:

Oh boy, that sounds like trouble. Another reason to ditch Ubuntu!
ZFS, BTRFS etc are awesome filesystems enabling snapshots, deduplication, self-healing and other neat stuff you want on PCs. I use them regularly.
For example if you f*** up your system you can just reboot and load a prior snapshot to restore everything back to normal.
ZFS is the top choice for NAS and archival where data safety is critical, as the self-healing protects your data from bitflips/bitrot (thanks to the usage of merkle trees I think).
The png removal is just the loss of a bit of customization I think.
But removing LUKS encryption is big! It's the defacto standard for everyone that wants to encrypt their systems completely! Like not only having an encrypted partition where you store important data, but encrypting even the boot loader so everything is secured and attacker can't gain information about what operating systems you're using etc.
I already try to do this regularly. Boosting when ever I find something worth sharing and using the reactions constantly. I also try to zap (or tip people with Monero) when ever I feel like it :)
One thing I'd add, try to onboard people that might enjoy their time on here 😁

Want to earn Bitcoin or Monero without KYC?
A big problem with digital privacy, is that some services require SMS registration, and many times block VoIP numbers..
Even worse, there are Crypto “SMS-confirm” services that buy blocks of phone numbers, but once Big Tech's security vendors find out what the block is, the entire block may get banned or labeled VoIP. Leaving many privacy-conscious users feeling frustrated and isolated from parts of the internet.
But not everybody wants to be anonymous. Some people don't care that much. What if there was a way that those who don't care that much, could sell their phone number to those who do?
That's why I'm excited to present to you a huge new project from Simplified Privacy, the SMS Exchange. You can register as an SMS seller, and get notifications via your pick of SMS, Telegram, XMPP, or Session. You reply to an automated system with the SMS registration code, and boom, you earn your favorite cryptocurrency in a few seconds.
Not only can these surveillance firms not stop a guerrilla P2P market like this, but it's a huge step forward for the circular parallel economy, to never be dumping Bitcoin or Monero on an Exchange, in order to pay for blocks of phone numbers.
Instead, this is an opportunity for some savvy cats to on-ramp without KYC. And even pay for their phone bills with an easy side hustle. I encourage you to check out this extremely short article with some of the details, and consider reposting this so we can help the Nostr economy succeed.

Oh they do make a difference!
They're the difference between us being able to live free and a life as a tax slave 🙃
Google's official store is doing $200 off on the Pixel 10, until the end of the month. So their price of 799 is knocked down to $599. [1]
Simplified Privacy can go down to $540 on a Pixel 10, 128G storage. That's brand-new, with GrapheneOS, a case, and charger included. And on top of that, we can even throw in 3-months of VPN service, for free.
In fact, our prices are so affordable, that some fear sending cryptocurrency from a scam. And that's why we just renewed our security deposit with XMRBazaar. This provides scam protection to you, while shielding you/us from data inquires.

US government just banned "foreign made" routers from being imported.
Absolutely ridiculous, from Wikileaks years prior, it was revealed the US government was hacking home routers from the default ISP. Now they want to cut off your defenses.

Back when I was very young and had traveled to Orlando, Florida to go to Disney World I vividly recall one particular event.
The resort, one of the Disney ones, had quite a large pool and of course all the kids would be playing there whilst the parents were having MickeyMouse Juice (tm).
Me and my brother were swimming together in the pool and had made some friends. I remember one fella we were swimming with, a black (African-American in this case) fella. We spoke about where we were from, and of course when we told him South Africa he was amazed - you know, so far away and "muy exotico".
We told him that we would ride animals to school. Many people took lions but our family personally preferred elephants.
I was happy to have helped provided real African education based on my lived-experience.
(I ride the Elephant 3000 model, it's the model from last year but still has good fuel economy)

Ernsthaft, würd mich freuen diese Debatte zu sehen
It would have users exiting the IP, but that is not per say a risk if it's a no KYC host. By upfront costs, we mean literally paying for it. As far as recommendations go, it depends on what country/location you'd be interested in doing. I see a Canada flag on your website, would you prefer to be the first Canadian spot? If you're serious about it, I can dig into which Canada host is good. I also need a German location, and I have a good host in mind. So if you're indifferent, probably Germany would be the first choice.
Crypto no longer feel real.
Except for one outlier, which only reinforces the rule.

Adopting Monero is not just a technical choice. It is a cultural and philosophical shift.
It means rejecting the normalization of surveillance and embracing financial privacy as a basic human right.

Dear Iceland VPN users,
We are doing a peaceful server transition, (defined as no interruption in service). The new one and old one will both online for the next days 9, after which the old one will stop working.
This new provider is faster & should better meet your needs. If you're using HydraVeil it will automatically renegotiate if you delete your wg.conf. For android or routers, please use the web panel at web.hydraveil.net
Hi @npub1yrs…ja94. Please see this section of the site, thanks,

to clarify, it is in a datacenter, and not in your home. so you would not bear any legal responsibility for the actions of users. also it is paid, you get a percent of revenue. You'd need some basic Linux admin knowledge, good skills to learn in your own privacy and security journey
You'd need some basic Linux admin knowledge, but learning Linux commands would be useful in your own privacy and security knowledge as well

Very interesting theories, i watched Secret History1-8 so far. But suddenly this guy is everywhere, i did not know him 2 weeks ago, now everybody seems to feature him.
Do you have a Monero donation address?
I do that. I help my fellow Bitcoiners understand that Monero is the real Bitcoin. Every single day.
Most OGs come to the same conclusion as it is pretty obvious.
Welcome to the Monero Gang.
