It only takes one follow by a non-spammy account to get a new user visible on Brainstorm, once scores are recalculated. Our default filter sets the cutoff at rank=2 (out of 100), and even with settings that low it does a remarkably good job of screening out the spam without punishing new users.

They also are in comms with their friends, and that's all high fidelity these days.
Ah yes, the indestructible phone series. An excellent choice for a child. It must be a model from the 2000’s though; they don’t make them like they used to!
Not a parent, so feel free to ignore this. But if they need a phone to remain contactable how about a dumb phone like a nokia ??
Bitcoin. The inclusive currency you may use even if you dont trust the science. Trust only the math is enough.

Ours has no phone or internet access without supervision. He's treated like an attacker on the network and given zero privileges. The phone has music and audiobooks downloaded for offline use. His PC is in our living area and he has supervised full access there. We generally let him do whatever in that supervised condition. He travels with a ham radio if we need to contact him.
That may sound extreme, but it's more easygoing in practice. In general, we do stuff with him on a PC rather than a phone.
Yeah, trying really hard not to use that tbh, but seems like the easy option.
Is it possible to control another person's device without a "surveillance" nightmare. You're by definition removing their agency. But these are children, they don't have the right to such agency. So what's a surveillance nightmare in the context of you doesn't necessarily need to apply to children.
If it were me, I'd probably give them a dumb phone and allow them limited access to a shared device in a shared space. Or at least try that. After all, that's how most of us grew up before smart phones anyway. At least where and when I grew up.
We used Google's Family Link. It worked very well. It wouldn't work on Graphene without Play Services.
Take the phone away from your child and parent. Done.
The projection is called azimuthal. Yes. That would make some waves.
Do it on the azimuthal projection and you might attract a little controversy and with that free marketing.
> There are clearly lots of bots and inauthentic nostr accounts who are NIP-05 verified.
Are there? Yeah then it would be about ranking which domains are less spammy than others. Not sure it would be worth it at that point. But idk how else to have newcomers not be shadowbanned.
Yeah, vector native is the win.
It feels very smooth in use on mobile
I need to build something new for a client with that same way of aggregating markers

Not really. A few prompts.
@nprofile…6p69's bot did the heavy lifting.
Experimenting switching to it from Leaflet.
Looks promising.
We don’t use NIP-05 in Brainstorm. But it would be very straightforward to do so. Do users want it? How useful is it, and how gameable is it? There are clearly lots of bots and inauthentic nostr accounts who are NIP-05 verified.
There's prbly a flat earth plugin we could use. 😂
you should make a setting for viewing a flat earth instead of the globe.
Nah, just joking 🤣

Is NIP-05 taken into account with WOT at all?

A total of 0 people understood what was going on and joined nostr that day.
Great strategy 👏👏👏

I might just need to adjust the quality profiles a bit, but I really like the interactive search for a torrent that Sonarr/Radarr provides, especially for 4k media as they can range between 5 and 80-ish GB in size.
Seerr uses Radaar and Sonaar in the background. You can control quality formats, etc no problem.
Seerr just makes it pretty and a little more user friendly for non-techies requesting content.
Integrates with Fladder too, which is a decent client (although needs better codecs and player features).
Maybe I use it incorrectly, but Seerr wasn't a success for me. Feel like I don't have enough control on what is downloaded, especially the size. Sonarr and Radarr gave me much more control than Seerr.
I guess if nprofile:// or nostr:// handlers are not registered then the OS doesn't know what to do.
Too easy to send them to a website. They gotta put in the work!
Why wouldn’t it resolve? Shouldn’t it send them to Download the app if they don’t have it?

The official jellyfin client player is fine, but it's a bit basic. If you're inclined to level up further, Kodi with a skin add-on provides a really nice UX on the TV side for Jellyfin. A NUC or laptop or steamdeck etc. can replace the "streaming stick" part of the setup.
Elon needs to sack his Starlink sales team 😂

Oh well. Still, multiple accidents could happen.
Do they have Starlink on AF1? 🤔
