A Christmas movie, in November. But, he's been ill, so I'll let that pass.
It's a great movie, too. Brilliant fun.
But there was an underlying message which I didn't appreciate. They made it clear, if there was no Santa then there was no Christmas.
But that's not true, is it?
Christmas isn't about old Saint Nick.
It's about Christ.
No matter how much people try and subvert the meaning and purpose of the celebration, it doesn't change reality.

My heated jacket is probably one of my favourite purchases EVER.
I was sat discussing with a couple of mates last night how, had we lived just 100 years ago, due to our various experiences, all of us would have been dead by now.
We're only in our 40s.
We really are the luckiest human beings to have ever walked God's green earth.

Going to adapt this, tonight or tomorrow, so you can pull up and view the interactions between the account you're viewing and the people you follow. Quick and easy. Doesn't need AI and the associated cost, either.

I ditched the followers metric because it was utterly unreliable and a poor metric for anything beyond feeding ego.
This is better. It's not entirely accurate, it only reaches out and checks so far, but should, over time and interactions, provide more useful insight when viewing accounts than accounts which once clicked follow.
This isn't a WoT thing, btw.

I just accidentally brought and ate two meals at the hospital restaurant. Rice with chicken and a damn good chilli. I didn't realise it was meant to be two meals. Scoffed the bloody lot though. Paid double what I thought I would, so I wasn't leaving anything behind.

Right, done all I wanted to for now with the location thing. I'll be able to expand on that at a later date and make it even more useful, but for now it does what I need it to do.
Next task is to change the followers list. By change, I mean, remove. What's the point of it? What does it actually tell you about a person? Nothing useful, really, given the number of dead accounts on here, as well as lurkers. So I'm going to experiment with interaction scoring, a sort of WoT type model, I guess, but it's not a WoT, it's just...activity metrics. But, again, it'll be extensible, like the location thing I just added.
That first test didn't work how I wanted it to, so I'm making some changes, but now I'll test the other method

I've added automatic meta data stripping to images on Plume (video next) along with appropriate notifications.
I've also added a pin to the compose boxes, as well as replies, so you can manually place a map object in a note, or kind 20 image, or video. Being able to share place information is useful and could be built on further later on. I decided to do it this way because reasons.
This note is just a test, btw. The map data should be stored as a tag in the note and will possibly (probably) only render in Plume atm, so I've added an option to encode it directly in the note instead.
