Its a series of essays. The overarching theme is that all the western ideas/concerns about Ai are grounded in western philosophy specifically. It tries to look at things in a Chinese-specific context to see how the ideas are similar or different from that perspective.
I found the philosophy and history focused essays better, the art focused ones less good (but i dont know much about art critique)
