How exactly, if you don't mind expounding a bit, do you store the digital you over time? Is using local models a big part of that? What exact dataset are you building? Surely not trusting it to OAI on their cloud. And is it just a heap of various markdown files, or some sets of weights?
Perhaps the missing thing is the Terminal is an AI generated newspaper for everybody.
My AI generated news feed is for me and it uses context and my personality markdown files to gradually increase its understanding of what I want to know about.
A bit like modern drugs. Pills used to be generic, now, more and more pills are being designed for a single patient. That's currently only available to wealthy patients willing to pay the price, but like all technologies, we are moving from generic services to individual services.
I have also built my own YouTube engine. I get recommendations based on AI's growing understanding of me, not the generic "You liked this video, others that liked this video also like this"
We're not building generic algorithms we're building personal algorithms.
