And to be clear, when I say training, I mean ABET programs in the US or equivalents outside the US. That's currently what I'm considering. I'm also curious about ongoing training, but mostly initial and how it played out career wise.

The only business strategy I can imagine would be to target people who are sick of being used and abused by their software and services. Those are probably the only people who would pay for an alternative to the current offerings. And even then you're still struggling against the network effect you mentioned. You're then asking them to pay to use a service that almost no one else will see. It's a tiny network that they're paying to use. But it's honest at least. Some people value that. I think the most likely scenario is that those people will continue using both as necessary. I do. I still pay for YouTube Premium. Only a few of the channels I like are on Nostr. I'd have very limited media access if I only used ethical options. That's sick and sad but reality for me.
Nuclear war would help, of course, but we should have a Plan B. It's only sensible.

You're making the logical error of obsessing over the messenger, rather than countering the message. You apparently have no viable counter-argument. No one does.
Everyone can publicly observe all of his haters just sort of emoting and flailing around, mentally, like this. It makes him look good, TBH.
You have to figure out WHY HE IS WRONG. Tell us why he is wrong. We are all waiting for the enlightenment. Why is inequality good for the working class? Why do governments need to liquidate all remaining public assets, to subsidize the gazillionaries, rather than clawing lost assets back? Why do we need to subsidize oil conglomerates and resource oligarchs with public monies, so that the wealth can trickle down when they buy another yacht? Why do we need to invade more countries, drop bombs on school children and some little old ladies herding goats, and then run off with the spoils?
Why? Why? Why? Why is this all a great thing and we need to _do it even harder_?

Acho que vou começar a usar-lo novamente a versão 8.4 está um estouro.
Bem mais rapida, com tipagens e decorators.
Agora é possível usar o #NGINX-Unit que torna a aplicação uma aeronave, sem precisar de php-fpm.
Tem também o #frankenphp que não deixa barato, que já vem com HTTP/3 nativo.
E caso vocẽ não goste de #Laravel, tem alternativas como o #symfony e #slimframework.
São muitas as opções para quem deseja criar uma aplicação usando PHP hoje em dia, me lembro ainda quando se misturava a lógica com HTML e CSS juntos, quando se usava ajax para fazer buscas e muitas das vezes retornavam um HTML que era renderizado em alguma parte da aplicação.

Да понятно, что это просто результат совокупности тех факторов, что я перечислил, плюс что-то такое, что ещё толком не исследовали. Но я точно скажу: если бы я работал с ЦРУ, то прекратил бы всю активность и залёг бы на дно, потому что тут 50 на 50 - либо меня взяли в оборот, либо нет, а 50 - это дохрена. Интересно даже, как с этим реальные агенты борются: доверяют ли чутью или ждут более весомых доказательств.

The soldiers in those armies don't gain anything at all from the destruction and plunder, and many have no idea why they are even there — or even where "there" is — but the working and middle classes are too weak and atomized, to really mount an effective political opposition. (Well, outside of religious groups, at least).
What you see, in both Russia and the USA, is that a bizarrely-large subset of the voters have become emotionally-attached to the super-wealthy and have effectively become their loyal vassals. They do whatever their masters demand, and twist every noble idea they ever cherished into a perversion of itself, to support their rhetoric. The Oligarch Next Door. The Divine Right of Billionaires. Etc.
And then you finally realize how oligarchy and tyranny arises and countries become ruled by Mad Kings trying to conquer the world, and you realize that you are watching that happen on your phone, in real time...
