The Islamic Republic is continuing its war on the people of Iran. But Iranians are fighting back.
Yesterday in Esfahan, citizens noticed the regime was preparing for a barbaric public execution. Reports circulated that the regime was set to hang three protesters from the January 8/9 uprising.
At dawn, hundreds of brave Iranians gathered in the square to protest this medieval brutality and public murder. They jeered and shouted at the executioners. Sadly as the call to prayer played, two young men were hung from cranes.
Security forces chased the protesters, firing on them with live ammunition, trying to kill more and more Iranians.
The murder of protesters and other political prisoners are often done in prisons. But the regime, fearing the Iranian people will rise against them, is conducting them in public in an attempt to intimidate them into silence.
Untold other brave protesters are currently facing a similar fate. Their lives hang in the balance.
This is two Irans: the vile and evil Islamic Republic against the brave and heroic people of Iran.
Iranians will not back down. They will fight. But they should not have to fight alone. The world must back these brave men and women.

Buzz is clearly 'other stuff'. they have kind:1 social feeds for communities right now that are hidden behind advanced experimental settings. once that UI is all baked in, that turns into a huge catalyst for bringing more social kind:1 content to nostr. but that's not the draw. the draw for them is agentic workflows. but we'll get'em. we'll get'em.

id say it's other stuff since most people refer to social content as kind:1 events but nostr's social content extends well beyond text notes. if you only count text, you're missing blogs, music, videos, live streams, group/community chats, etc.
for example, i am social all day long, chatting in a couple different Armada communities. i woke up to 70 messages to read this morning lol, but i'd consider Armada an other stuff app.

I am super pumped about my new project @workstr.
I have started working out from home using my bodyweight only. With the right exercises and program I’ve managed to loose 25% of my excess bodyweight. I’ve discovered that you don’t need to go to the gym or to purchase expensive gym equipment in order to get the result that you want in the time that you have.
For the past year I have spent in a #fitness app membership called Jefit. There are cool features such as “body recovery”, “automatic programs” and more.
When they came out with a community feature that was awkward and a dead end, I saw the potential to leverage #nostr in a similar app and make it available to everybody. Beginners, professionals, at a gym, from home.
I will also be integrating more specialized features such as superset and EMOM in the near future.

Full disclosure I don't have any experience with iOS. I do know the gps can often be pretty universally finicky. Smart location is best enabled for private messages only, but you can do it on LongFast just be aware that your location is public.
You have to send out the location packets very often (like less than 5 minutes intervals) and let it do that for 24 hours and the GPS usually will populate the map.
It is a million times easier to just set a fixed location. So most of my devices are set to town landmarks because then people can pretty instantly see the node populate on the map in the app when I'm demoing things for the public.
It's way more fun for them to say, oh it's at the duck pond! Then to go into a rigamarole about location pings with laypersons 😂
