Matrix 1: deserving of most if all of the praise that has been heaped onto it, albeit perhaps a tad overrated... Not as "smart" of a movie as it seems to think it is, but a genuinely unique and novel aesthetic.
Matrix Reloaded: underrated IMHO. Does everything that you would want to see in the second movie of a trilogy, expands the universe, expands the stakes, and leaves everyone in a very uncertain state by the end of it, similar to the end of Empire Strikes Back.
Matrix Revolutions: unmitigated trash. Takes the interesting ideas of the second movie and chucks them in the wastebasket in favor of endless CG slop robot monsters, and Dragonball-Z-level absurd fight scenes.
Bonus:
Matrix Resurrections: still kind of on the fence about this one... There are some great performances, particularly NPH, and I genuinely like the idea of "it's all in your head," which the first movie could have played a little more with.
It depends on how interested are in the subject matter IMO.
