I realize that you don't want to use blockchains, but I'd like to point out again that Inkan resolves precisely these kinds of issues with timestamping and sequencing. The solution is implemented and fully usable right now at https://www.inkan.cc. Inkan does use blockchains, but it might still be of interest as a reference.

Oil price is a global price and there is a glut of oil, not a shortage. The shortage is in particular products, like jet fuel and fertilizer. So the price of oil didn't go up, but the price of flights and food did.

The sea-people which attacked so many civilizations at the end of the bronze era were the from the Atlantis people.
The Atlantis people are "aliens" who reside at the bottom of the ocean. (They've been here for eons so consider themselves earthlings with more time on earth than we do.)

They first started reaching out in preparation for this cycle in the 1950s. Their attempts have escalated, the orb sightings, the feeling that people are getting crazier, that's them reaching out.
Unfortunately, our predators know this is happening. They also reach out, pulling levers and controlling the narrative. Usually the sea people get painted as the bad guys.

To some extent. Nostr.land already requires AUTH for a huge amount of features, so it would encourage devs to actually support it properly.
And for some things like gift wrap spam filtering, it would not be possible at all.

I am considering requiring NIP-42 authentication for a majority of event writes.
It would prevent random rebroadcasts where it is not desired and allow for better spam filtering, so why not?
