Yeah, probably true. Allowing one's slave-job to fill that need kinda sucks though, imo. And I think many have some sort of brainwashed fear or inability to occupy themselves with meaningful pursuits as a result of having their hand held too much in life (school, college, job path...all laid out neatly, that sort of thing). I'm hoping the AI boom might really free up more people's time and shift things out of that rut a bit.
