@nprofile…c4rj yes this change was already flagged for last year but somehow got overlooked, also the coffee corner we had long time ago in lower Janson was removed as well as the colored building S (which we never used but somehow was not greyed out on the map liked the rest of the buildings we don't use)

@nprofile…zyls @nprofile…46aj It's all the same rail company here in Belgium, so any and all trains can be impacted. The page we linked on our transportation page is the official website from the National Belgian rail, any updates of cancelled trains or alternate schedules should be posted there a day ahead of strike day.

@nprofile…v94x I think the parking has some height restrictions for campers and also it's winter time so sleeping in your car or a camper might be pretty cold. Also there is campus security making rounds so I am not sure they aren't going to chase you from the parking if they notice it.

Some last minute tips and tricks!
There won't be any more paper schedule booklet, so please download one of the schedule apps... (and don't forget a power bank and/or charger for said device), take an umbrella and/or raincoat, there might be light rain showers on saturday according to the latest weather report (if you don't need them we have a cloakroom). Volunteers for Friday buildup please gather in building H, not K! (as we are not allowed to enter K before 6pm due to other activities)

@npub13w3…9k68 @npub1fy9…mmgf yes the current ones were at the third revision: have been switched over time from video over coax -only 1 trial with that but that cable was way too tedious to install for the weekend- to hdmi and the slide boxes from vga to hdmi because the projectors at ulb were mostly vga at the time...
There is a video about a refresh project in our archive in 2019 I think..

@npub1w5u…egep automatic posting services like dlvr.it long time ignored mastodon as a service... Had been looking for years for something like that, but had to do it by hand still... (just saw that dlvr.it actually highlights mastodon as a new supported service... I wonder why ;) ) The existing automations for posting our website RSS on twitter^X and Facebook were oddly enough not broken this year (usually have to give them a kick to restart after the summer break)
