I get this but would like to point out an inaccuracy. This says 'most coping strategies', however the good strats which many learn in therapy are often behavioral therapy and CBT, which is (also) about introducing a cognitive step between an environmental trigger and your emotional response to it. It can help, even with climate stress (it's stress if there is a stressor, not anxiety).

Legalize squatting. It's the only thing that works.
We had this in the Netherlands, to an extent, but not anymore. If it was empty for too long, people could legally break entry and live in it for free. If you could prove you had been in there for a day, they had to reconnect water, electricity and gas as well. You would pay no rent, only the utilities bill. Once the owner had a new destination for the object and they could prove that, the squatters also get time to relocate.

So the state is helping the industry. Same thing in the USA and EU though, where the state is doing exactly these things, except only for the fossil empire. The subsidies our societies carry for fossil are larger than the much debated 5% NATO contributions. The power structures here, the old boys networks and other furniture of our societies, they're stuck in a deadly rut so reflexively starting trade and proxy wars is not going to help them this time.

Is mijn re-edit ergens opgeslagen? Ik had de laatste seconde eraf geknipt omdat het voor het citaat niet toe deed, maar dat is zonder opgaaf van reden verwijderd door de mods van @npub1jhf…luh4 en die zijn hier natuurlijk de baas. I was reading the "leaked" 9 page pdf yesterday, which looks like a draft release of a paper by Yuuval Garb about inhumane massive #architecture being built in Gaza. It doesn't say the 377,000 number. From what it looked like this was inferred by another source, who reasoned that if what this paper said about the inhumane architecture is true, this confirms another of their reports about the casualty count in which they come to this number.

If people are dying because of the constant hunger siege, how many do you estimate have already succumbed?
We have a death count from military violence, but deaths from hunger and disease are afaik NOT measured at all, which is convenient.
Can you help me find someone who has written about this question? I have been looking for months and I know of _zero_ examples where ANY journalist asked after the hunger deaths already caused by our complicity.

Ik vind het zwaar en hij moet veel op pauze. Ben nu op 27 minuten. Mijn impressie is nu dat ik van drie kanten bestookt wordt met deze cirkelredenering:
1. Het netwerk is niet klaar omdat er niet in geinvesteerd is
2. Doordat het netwerk niet klaar is heeft het geen zin om in renewables te investeren
3. Doordat renewables geen zin hebben heeft het geen zin om in het netwerk te investeren
Daarbij spreken ze elkaar niet tegen en wordt het een soort meestribbelpartij.

Dank voor je boost eerder. He, vind je dit echt een goede aflevering? Ik heb het net op jouw advies eens even aangezet en vind het naar eer en geweten zwaar ondermaats. De gasten zijn een fossiele lobbyist en een fracking lobbyist. Zelf leidt hij een politieke partij die zeven doelen heeft waarvan minder zonnepanelen er een is. Zijn eerste echte vraag is eigenlijk waarom er teveel zonnepanelen zijn. Dat is toch duidelijk een nepgesprek dan?

Opvallend dat Bax Music een doorstart maakt met de bedrijfsleider waar het volgens het personeel en de vakbond mis door ging. Kennelijk luisteren deze doorstartinvesteerders niet zo naar de geluiden vanuit de werknemers. Voordat ik die werknemers en vakbond hier weer over gehoord heb, voelt het scabby om er producten te bestellen. Ik ga nu dus vooral naar de grote Duitser en een echte winkel in mijn stad.
