It will have taken 8 years to gather 256 hand crafted websites. It has been an amazing journey. I hope this will inspire people to create offshoots and new webrings and get the diy web alive.

I'm entertaining the idea of writing a second assembler, one written in a higher-level language than Uxntal. As a sort of reference. But as to not add an irreconcilable dependency into the mix, it must be in a language that I can realistically write a compiler for. With that in mind, if I had to pick a second language, which one would it be?
It would be POP-2. It was an obscure outlier among the Pascal and C shaped things that was extremely cat-brained, and a beautifully designed one at that, that still manages to preserve that classic look. If it wasn't for the infix assignment operator(->), it would look just like any other.
But it has a clear advantage over Pascal, in that it expects something that looks almost exactly like Uxn underneath. To test my idea, I've spent the better part of the past two days implementing a POP-2 compiler that comes to about 800 lines of Uxntal or a 2.5kb rom. Only one thing left to do, let's find out if an Uxntal assembler might be written in it so I may close the bootstrapping loop.

Reading some of the critiques of Peano's LsF, I figured some might be addressed by formalizing some of the syntax into the BNF Notation, so I poured over the documents I could find and added little BNF blocks to each section of the grammar.
Had something akin to the Backus–Naur form existed during Peano's lifetime, he'd probably have formalized it that way too himself.

You know what's more dead than Latin? Peano's Latino Sine Flexione. It died a first time when Latin stopped being taught as a language of scientific exchange and people forgot it, then, his auxlang died a second time over when Lsf got absorbed into Interlingua. One could say it's ultramort. And you know how much I like me some dead things.
Anyhow, you're on a boat, it's raining, you don't have any internet access, you're thinking about Sergei Parajanov, you can't just chain-drink coffee all day, you recently learned that the word for snow in Latin is "nive", that's all it took, so what do you do? You translate Barbara's 1940s Le Soleil Noir into Peano's superdead Latin. Because, that's just what you do now, because time is Uv.. Nuh.. Imporchance.
All I've got is a broken Stardict Latin dictionary with Chinese definitions, a short list of common idioms, the only LsF dictionary(fixed version) that Peano ever put out(I think?), one Primo Libro de Interlingua. The issue is that the LsF is full of typos(Optical scan issues I think?), so I wrote a new LsF dictionary, with fewer errors. That's it, that's my day, I don't really know how that's going to misc mit Ol' Computator Caerul- Cal-, no wait that's corn.

I don't understand your justification, why does a wiki have to be formal, it's a living document, it's more often than not informal! I don't think it can even be formal considered that it's only a sliding window of someone's knowledge of some topic.
I can understand that you like the rigid structure of timestamped blog entries, but strawmaning wikis like that is doing yourself a disservice, it can be more than that. :)

Made a variance of Giuseppe Peano's Latino Sine Flexione, by removing all ending vowels to see what it would look like.
http://wiki.xxiivv.com/site/latin_sin_flexion.html
I translated some Thoreau with it, and liked how it read.
Hoc mund mirand nos inhabit es plus mirabil quam practical, magis pulcr quam util, es pro admir et gaud no usu.
So I documented one of my programming languages with it to see how it'd do. And made a kind of logo, there was no logo, there always need to be a logo.

I've been working on this little project on and off over the past year or so, the idea is to have something akin to manual pages, or self documenting #uxn roms. So the outside world can peek at the capabilities of a program and build a kind of documentation. Right now, it can't do much more than read the icon, program informations and the content of menus, but I'd love at one point to make myself a kind of puppeteer program like the old Macintosh menubar populated from the program resource package.
Babysteps, still kind of cool to see all this in one place. I wrote about my plan last year here:

A friend is inviting me to come down to hang out, like, I love ya, but I ain't going back to the US for as long as they're flagging anarchists and anti-capitalists as extremists. You come up this summer-

It's a good pretext to go and add icons to roms that were missing them.

Added a field to the #uxn rom metadata page so that you can check if a rom is compatible with your emulator!

Put down Dubliners(it did NOT spark a single bit of joy) and picked up instead Calvino's If On A Winter's Night, sat there transfixed and read half of it in one sitting, it's such a fun concept, how is it possible for a book to make you feel like this, this is pure book magic!

Anchored in Ballet Bay, waiting for the rain to pass, someone else pulled up next to us. It has been raining all day, we've hung all our wet clothes on the woodstove, I put down Dubliners, it's too depressing, I'll read something else instead.

Jinxed it,
we got hit by powerful storm an hour later, sideways rain, whiteknuckle, rode up and down massive waves pushing us toward the reefs, intense trial by fire to verify that all the projects we made over the winter were sea worthy. I had my eyes on the furler, hoping all the bits, locktite, locking nuts were all well done.

Quietly zipping up the coast with nothing but the main sail, warm wind at our back and following waves under a big blue sky.

I hope so, the literature on this is super opaque to me, so I figured I can just play with ropes until I find a system that is satisfying :)
