Do you think that it’s possible for a person to have been born differently?
Consider the following: many people say things like “If only Adolf Hitler had gotten accepted to art school, the Holocaust wouldn’t’ve happened”. The idea of “Adolf Hitler, but he got accepted to art school” being a coherent concept is generally accepted.
Now consider instead something like “If only Adolf Hitler had been born to a rich family, then he surely would’ve gotten accepted to art school, and the Holocaust wouldn’t’ve happened”.
The question is: Is this hypothetical even coherent? Is the supposed “Adolf Hitler but born to a rich family” not simply somebody other than Adolf Hitler? Is this alternate scenario perhaps just imagining that Adolf Hitler didn’t get born at all?
The first type of statement I’ll call “ordinary identity modal statement” /OIMS), the second “pre-birth identity modal statement” (PBIMS).
The question is about such statements in general, not just ones about Adolf Hitler.

I feel like (but can't prove) that far too few games try to end songs at specific times.
For instance, you could continue playing a song in a transitional area until you reach the designated end point instead of just fading out.
Or, you could try to predict when something will end and deliberately schedule a segment of music that is more likely to end at the right time.

It is only because we don't have the right to server source code in general. Abolition of copyright would make all software free software. The only thing the AGPL adds is that server operators are forced to share their source code.
That would also be a very small loss compared to the huge amazing gains from copyright abolition. I am prepared to forfeit AGPL for copyright abolition.

Any sufficiently complicated package manager and build system contains an ad hoc, informally-specified, bug-ridden, slow implementation of half of #Nix.
Unfortunately, saying that gives the impression that Nix is somehow comparable in elegance to Lisp. I’m sure I would come to believe this if I used Lisp as much as I used Nix. But in the meantime I need to point out that Nix is itself ad hoc, informally-specified, bug-ridden, and slow.

The charitable interpretation is that the post I showed is not any intentional lie or an attempt to present the situation in any particular way, but an expression of their feelings. It is entirely possible as an outsider observing the situation to come away with the wrong conclusion if you don’t see some of the events. It is strange to assume that someone presenting a wrong and harmful opinion is doing so intentionally.
I understand that these attacks personally affect you, and that it’s therefore difficult to view the situation from this perspective. I can’t expect you to do that. It’s also unfair to ask you to tone down your voice. Unfortunately, I don’t know of the proper way to resolve what I perceive as a sort of deadlock. But I ask that you at least consider this perspective.
To clarify what I think I’m observing: I think that an outsider observing this situation passively can come to the conclusion that no actual harassment against GrapheneOS has occurred and that GrapheneOS’ claims about security are exaggerated. From there it is not difficult to come to the subsequent conclusion that attempts to defend yourself are in fact attacks, which inverts the victim-perpetrator roles, and ends up confirming itself.
Therefore, I refuse to condemn the post I showed specifically. I do not believe it actively encourages harassment, but I can believe that it contributes to it. To me, active encouragement requires intent, which I don’t think should be assumed here.

The truth of these claims about SailfishOS is not very relevant to the discussion I tried to have, which was whether these feelings are to be expected. The people making the attacks are different people from the people who I am defending. When I read the thread, I saw posts like this, which express opinions that are misguided, but entirely to be expected given your social media strategy, and unworthy of moral condemnation.

I think that it’s important to recognise that simply stating facts that show something to be subpar directly is perceived as very aggressive and rude. While this is certainly something one could lament, it does mean that the reactions I see in this forum (though I admit I didn’t scroll through the entire thread, only about half of it) are to be expected and even reasonable in the right informational environment. I think if your approach is to bluntly state the facts, then it might be a good idea also to never attack these comments based on whether they misperceive you as aggressive. I didn’t see any outright harassment in that thread, but if there was any, that’s not what I’m talking about. The fact is simply that what you did was aggressive, to them. Simply stating facts in the way you do on social media is perceived as aggressive.

Just recently, Firefox removed Do Not Track in favour of Global Privacy Control, which seeks to communicate disagreement with data resale, but not collection. Is the law general enough to apply to mechanisms other than Do Not Track, and would a Global Privacy Control signal also prohibit data collection and not just resale?

That's not hostile. I think you need to understand that saying the truth bluntly is perceived as "drama" or outright hostility by others. Your communications are direct and to the point, yes, but that's not enough, unfortunately. This is how the world perceives you. It's okay to not want to adhere to these expectations but the reaction to it is not hostility. Recognizing that could deescalate this and other issues.
