That's a tough one. At first sight I liked the second more because of the wonderful waterline. But the first is darker and puts more emphasis to the clouds. So I'm undecided. 🤷‍♂️
Maybe it would be nice to darken the second photo a bit and add some more contrast. I think that would drag me to this side. Anyway, both are worth showing. 👍

Ja, so sieht es wohl aus. Zumindest das Dekanat in Mainz war da sehr klar. Sie meinten, Sie würden keiner Veröffentlichung zustimmen und würden rechtlich dagegen vorgehen.
Da allerdings so viele Bilder aus deutschen Kirchen veröffentlicht werden und da zu 99,99% sicherlich keine Genehmigungen eingeholt wurden, wird es anscheinend nur sehr selten wirklich verfolgt. 🤷‍♂️

Tja, eine eigene Homepage steht bei mir immer noch aus. 🤷‍♂️ Flickr hatte ich auch - mal mehr, mal weniger intensiv - über 10 Jahre lang. Kürzlich habe ich den Account aber ganz gelöscht, weil ich so weniger Daten/Bilder auf US-Servern liegen habe und der Spaß dort ohnehin gegen Null tendierte.

I absolutely agree, Steven. I know this place very well but I hardly recognised it in the photo. It looked so unfamiliar I had to use Streetview to reconfirm the location. 🤯 Reflections are a good way to challenge our conception of the world.
And sometimes they add some beauty to the scene.

A simple reflection in a puddle - I thought. At home, I was surprised at how much this changed the impression of the scene. What we see here is not a prison camp, but the entrance to Kaiserstrasse opposite Frankfurt's main railway station in the centre of the city. Not very inviting without seeing the shops and restaurants, I'd say. But who looks up anyway?
