Homeless folks are unionizing. They have lawyers.
In Sacremento, they filed a complaint about "sweeps" (shouldn't we just call them removals?) endangering their lives during a heat wave. A US district judge ruled in their favor.

#Canada is creating a new police unit in #BritishColumbia to protect Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion.
They call it the "Community-Industry Response Group."
RCMP cites Standing Rock as "a case study on the current and evolving tactics used in similar civil disobedience events."
Studies used to justify this new police group don't mention #Indigenous rights, and mischaracterize land claims as "resource protests."
