I find it curious how we label eras of entertainment, though in fairness I think only the new mediums really suffer in that regard. "classic" movies and "retro" games are hardly real terms as opposed to victorian literature and neoclassical architecture.
that said it does feel strange to consider that, in the grand history of literature, The Lord of The Rings is part of "postmodern literature". heck, Conan the Barbarian and HP Lovecraft are in the modern era.

finally got around to watching the new tadc episode. after last time the show actually confirmed things instead of being a red herring, which is cool. I don't think any of it was a surprise, everything that was stated had been somewhat established already. the visuals were another level, I almost feel like it was too much but given the I Have No Mouth inspiration is very explicit now it's par the course. too bad it ended on another cliffhanger, one less satisfying than the last.
also Kinger once again best character.

@nprofile…lwmc i've played through Mightreya demo a few times now and I really hope they fix it. I understand the mechanics, but then multiple enemies come around and the camera freaks out. i feel like i'm playing the bosses from Sonic Frontiers except there's a y-axis and the cameraman's being beaten to death behind me. Reya even orbits the enemy Sonic Adventure-style before actually connecting the hit, the enemies move too fast for the tracking systems to lock on properly.
