@nprofile…3rs3 The whole situation is amusing, but I'm interested in seeing the text of the indictment. SPLC seems to be saying these were "informants". However, that may still get them in legal hot water, because, as far as I know, this activity was not publicly disclosed to donors. I find it amusing that the FBI uses informants constantly for dubious ends and here they are going after a different org for potentially something similar.

@nprofile…lsen I use zip loc bags loaded up with damp (not wet) seed starting mix. I make a slit down the middle of one side of the bag, work the soil over the branch (I girdle the branch and use rooting hormone), fold the bag over the branch snugly, and tape with electrical tape to secure it. I also put something like aluminum foil or an old mailing envelope over it to keep the sun from baking it. Works a treat on peach, fig, and blueberry plants.

Reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. I'm a third of the way in and I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it through. The book really was starting to drag then the author introduced some really moronic climate change stuff.

So there's the famous knife scene in Aliens where Lance Henriksen stabs a knife systematically between the fingers of his and Bill Paxton's hands. That movie came out in 1986. There's a similar scene in the Hong Kong movie The Private Eyes which came out in 1976.
I feel like I've seen it in a movie or tv show prior to 1976, but I can't think of it. Anybody know?

The struggle sessions in China ended up in dictatorship because the opportunistic will rise up with the tide of change but the opportunists willing to use power and violence are the only ones that can stop the cycle for themselves, using fear to keep riding the crest of moral judgements that ebb & flow in the mob.
