At the beginning of September last year, I created a little terrarium as part of an activities weekend. I was (and am!) very pleased with it. It's been perfectly happy for 5 months and has never been opened. It contains ivy, fittonia, moss, and, noticed for the first time this week - fungus gnats!!! I haven't noticed any flying, but there are dead ones stuck to the glass.
So, were the eggs already there? Did one get in through the cork lid? 🤷‍♀️

New, and delighted to be here to share some peeks into my (not extremely exciting) Assynt-based life, on the north west coast of Scotland.
Expect to find ramblings about work and play, pets and plants, food and fiddling.
*I did not find a pot of gold on the roof, unfortunately.
