This is implemented very nicely in #Peertube in the text, but also in the player.
I will look into the issues and create a feature request if necessary.

And the devs answer is clear: "Sorry, re-coding audio is out of scope for AntennaPod. Ask the podcast creator to publish a normal feed like everyone else."
@npub17gp…7p4g Can you do something about it? It would be nice to have a RSS feed with audio-only content.

Thank you very much for your great software.
We have one channel with audio only content using mp3 for uploading. Is there a good way of deploying an MP3 podcast feed URL to use with a podcast app?
