Do French AZERTY keyboards not have a ‘ key?
Like an apostrophe?
Because Tim Hortons in Canada was originally Tim Horton’s but then the Quebecois got testy because they don’t have a ‘ in French so they had to rename the company to just get rid of the ‘ and now the whole franchise no longer is possessive.
Anyway, my keyboard I’m using here is a French Canadian which has all the fun stuff like «» ¢ ½¾ ç and stuff that is honestly useful on an English qwerty but only this keyboard has. Like if you aren’t from Canada you probably don’t know this kinda obscure keyboard but its based because its basically a QWERTY but with a bunch of extra shit on it.

Found out why my print failed, ATLAS ENGINEERING as usual. They have resin traps and didn’t put holes in their large hollow parts.
Those guys are really bad at their jobs, not to mention the habit of using medium or heavy supports on small minis. Dumb.

I revised my (probably) GERD safe pasta. My initial run wasn’t that bad, I actually ate it all. I change to penne noodles and used less, changed the flavour of the sauce and now its very tasty. Doesn’t make as much but it’s not bland, it’s quite good.

Ok. I tested out the Print then Cut feature on my h2d :h2dlaser: :blobheart:
It’s actually really fussy about paper positioning and the UI and all the instructions are wrong about it :blobdubious:
But the process is neat and works like a charm once you get past that. You make your stickers in bambu suite, it sends the print job to your 2d printer and adds in these location markers. The printer sees the location markers and uses them to precisely cut out your stickers perfectly. Pretty cool honestly.

One of my pet peeves in life is when a movie or tv show contains an in-universe parody of another tv show or movie.
It’s almost always clearly better than the real thing. There are many times this has irritated me, but one that really stands out to me is Knee High Mischief, which is the “Portuguese knock off version” of Gremlins.

BTW, I didn’t know this. But actually your phone can’t scan metal codes. I was running into a bunch of issues where things would sometimes scan, or not, and then I’d test them on plywood and it would all scan perfectly then not at all on the metal cards … and then
yup, metal codes don’t like to scan. Well, learn a new thing, no problem :blobthumbsup:
It was weird as heck the kinda dubious looking plywood cards would scan instantly but the much sharper metal ones wouldn’t. Secret material properties.
I’ve got work arounds in progress already.

@nprofile…04yf lol I know, but the birdseye camera isn’t actually like pixel perfect, I aligned it to be perfect in the software but it didn’t turn out as shown.
The camera warps a bit at the edges so what I should have done was placed the card in the middle for engraving. I’ll do that next revision.

@nprofile…04yf had pointed out to me that biometrics would in fact, not get me past the guards. This has been corrected.
I was lazy and didn’t position the card quite perfectly and the laser was offset slightly and ended up cutting off the top of the back. Whoopsie.

My Saturn 4 Ultra :saturn4ultra: had some weird glitch where it would hang while booting. I flashed a stock firmware and that fixed it. Then it updated and booted perfectly fine. I donno what happened but it was easily fixed.

My old Boox Note Air2 Plus got some big update and it really improved the device. It almost feels new.

I had a really bad night. One if the worst gerd flare ups ever. I had to sit there burning for a full eight hours straight. Nothing did anything to stop or even alleviate it, just burning all night. Brutal.

@nprofile…exc8 Well, you aren’t wrong but Germany isn’t the right country to buy tanks from now. Were using German tanks now, but Germany needs it’s own tanks, the difference between putting Canadians or Germans in the tanks isn’t useful. Those tanks really should stay in Europe right now.
The real problem with the F35 is the tech that can’t be licensed and built locally, and it integrates and is meant to work within the Americans intelligence framework and their software. If the engines are made in Sweden or Canada that’s not a problem that GE designed the engine. F35 components are not available like this. F35 has a lot of secrets built in. I’m not an expert on the Gripen so if you are saying it’s compromised I’ll take your word for it. Something completely clean would be ideal. But is that for sale? France maybe, but I’m not sure they have the production capacity.
I don’t trust the UK much more than I do the USA, we shouldn’t use their tech either.

Well. That’s it. The last guy from work let me down.
It was his union drive, but i took the heat, I got fired and now he’s refusing to help him submit a claim to the CIRB because the bosses let the straight white guy off the hook. They got rid of the tranny and they are satisfied. At least he won’t get the union benefits either.

re: the power requirements on the vive facial tracker, it comes up mostly on my pimax crystal but the trick I used to get it working was I daisy chained usb to usb adapters until the voltage was correct and if that sounds insane and stupid that`s because it is but its so stupid it works. I’m hoping to skip that nonsense here lol

Interesting, and finally. My H2D :h2dlaser: now supports printing while drying from its AMS HT. Which it should have from day one, but I guess there were reasons. People complained and now its rolling out as an update to allow it.
