It was interesting in the Appalachian flooding that people automatically looked towards local churches as trusted depot spots for the distribution of goods outside of the government's gaze. Such organized institutions for the "right and good" are desperately needed to help hold local societies together, particularly at a time crisis, but....

There were some guys who were going to protest at January 6th, but couldn't due to flight delays but that didn't keep the Feds from locking them up for "conspiracy to riot" or some such bullsh!t.
