The tent is just nylon trying to protect us,

The air has grown cold… and winter is approaching.
I sit here in the tent, feeling the harshness of the cold seeping into everything around me, as if it enters my soul before my body.
Fear fills my heart… not just of the cold,
but of the days to come, of the rain that will inevitably arrive,
and of the tent we are in, fragile… it will not protect us,
that the water could overwhelm us, and we might drown within its fragility, and that each passing moment will only increase our suffering here.🥺💔

Yes… a woman cooking on an open fire, but behind the picture there is an entire story no one sees. The smoke burns our eyes, the heat burns our hands, but the heart keeps fighting. We cook this way because life forced us to, not because we chose it. Every meal that comes out of this pot is not just food… it’s a small victory over our circumstances, and a reminder that we are still here, still resisting, still living 💔🥺🤲🏻

Today, while I was cooking over the fire, I realized how simple this is for some people… and how hard it is for us.
The heat was burning my face, the smoke getting into my eyes, and every time I tried to make the fire stronger, I could feel my hands burning.
There’s no gas, no kitchen… just two stones and a fire we try to use to make a meal to survive.

Sometimes I feel like life is pressing down on us from every side… the circumstances are hard, and every day brings something new that upsets me and adds more weight to my heart.
I try to hold on, but honestly, sometimes I feel like I need to vent and let out my pain, wanting someone to listen without judging me.
