I have decided to go Linux only for Nostr and ditch amethyst.
This is probably a blessing in disguise. I have been spending way too much time on my phone. Time to start getting serious about FOSS development. Going to set aside 2 hours per day for nostr max. Rapid fire memes and responses like a boss.
Gotta do this to be more productive with my life and get serious about development work as a full time profession. This is the only way.

I really do not want to get into it. It is a very long heated debate between me and Vitor. Where he proved time and time again to be untrustworthy, pompus, potentially criminal, and has an ego the size of the sun.
He will downplay the many issues and our disagreements. Leaving out the key important details on purpose. Stays up on his high horse. I have been looking to leave amethyst since Christmas. Taking my time to research what is out there, but seeing his slut for money post today.
That made me say fuck it. I have to leave NOW.

I completely agree with you.
Most of the time I am too stubborn to go to the developer myself. I have to be on the struggle bus for awhile.
One of the most annoying things for me is when I have been struggling for a long time. I finally get the bug up my ass to contact the original developer for a piece of foss I need as a dependency. Only to find out the developer abandoned the project and has gone MIA.
So then I have to decide do I really want to fucking maintain this orphaned package, or find another solution. This has happened to me a lot actually now that I think of it lol.

Why is Damus just available for Apple on a proprietary OS?
Sure their hardware is decent, but having it on an OS built for spying and dystopian control. Seems like having a bathroom stall where the doors are high enough to still show your crotch. Ok. Just spent 20 minutes trying to get virtualbox to work for like the billionth time over the past 15 years. That mother fucking 1908 error. Then do everything the wiki says and I still fucking get it.
Can anyone here help kick me of the virtualbox addiction? I am open to other options. I just want to easily import and export virtual machines with ease. A stupid simple easy to manage virtualization solution.
I have used virt-manager and gnome-boxes in the past.
Virt-manager is ok, but never really got it to work well enough for me to switch. Sometimes run into installation and configuration issues.
Love gnome boxes, but I need that import export feature for virtual machines. I would not figuring it out manually If that is possible. It has been awhile since I used it.
What are your virtualization suggestions for linux that are FOSS only. Please help.
