The view from my booth at the Maker Faire. It periodically shoots fire in the air.

Today, I sold out of the Batleth Wielding Penguin drawings I'd brought to the Maker Faire. I have a few left at home, so I'll bring them tomorrow.
I love these little angry penguins!

Oh! The iris is in full bloom, and has a wonderful scent. We weren't sure if this would even survive and grow, let alone bloom.

It doesn't look like it, but I made this floral pattern with a particle system. Yep, art inspired by a debugging process while developing a chemistry simulation: https://www.artatomic.io/product/particle-flower/S6DU4HOI4A5FLGMWQDFYT4FP

Today's protest, at San Francisco's Civic Center, felt different. I watched the SF Poster Syndicate print new posters and give them away for free. At a time, when my city appears to have given up on art and artists, the artists are still showing up and being amazing! They print the posters right there at the event!

I've got a few of these original hand-drawn small artworks in my shop now. The ants are saying "move slow and make wonderful things".

I'll be doing one more in-person art event this year, and that's it. So, I'm adding some of my hand drawn pieces to my on-line shop at artatomic.io
Here's one of my ant drawings, with the words "Move slow and make wonderful things"

I somehow managed to break through inertia and finally dropped off some of my stickers at Noe Valley Books, my local book shop. So, if you're in Noe Valley stop by and pick out a new book and maybe one of my art stickers. I donated the stickers, so all of the sale will go to supporting the book shop.

I've been playing with lizard motifs, on watercolor paper, for a little while now. They're fun to draw and are distracting me from all the bad things going on out there. They want us miserable, and I refuse to be that. So I'm drawing, a lot.

Making progress on the large piece that I've been working on. I love how it combines two ideas: atomic bonding angles and harmonics. Abstracted and combined.

Umm...Just to clarify, may I assume that you are referring to the account that replied when I boosted your post?

Just saw a comedian say something along the lines of differences between the generations "Boomers, Millieniels, and Gen Z".
Um, what about GenX? The boomers made us latch-key kids, and then everyone else pretends we never existed? Ugh.
It's like a whole generation is that anonymous artist or writer, who was actually a woman but nobody wanted to acknowledge they existed.
Ha! Ugh!

Surviving cancer just to see the reboot of TFG?
Back in the first season, when he was stealing Covid medical supplies? And that sports team owner smuggled medical supplies to his state?
That was the inspiration for my Smash-a-rona game: https://artatomic.itch.io/smash-a-rona-v2
Yes, those orange blobs in the upper game levels represent TFG. If it touches your medical box, the meds shrink away.
I may have to add new levels to the game, with TFG's reboot.

well, that's one way to look at this total shit-show that could result in the end of all life a a very short time.

It's just so awful to be switching from hope to survival and resistance mode.

Etsy is demanding that I upload my 'government issued id' to continue getting paid for any sales I might make in my shop there.
Hmmmm....I think I'm going to close down my shop there, or put it on vacation mode. Honestly, I do not trust Etsy with a photo of my legal ID, which is what they're demanding.
So, ugh.

After coming home from today's outing (to the De Young museum and the Japanese tea gardens), I wanted to draw more of today's #inkyDays pattern. I did some small ones, and then also started a large one, on watercolor paper.
