I'm a very respectable person; it's just that it seems the second I mention anything related to me being gay (it turns out, it's a rather significant part of my journey to self-actualization).
I'm not offended as just annoyed; don't confuse the two.

After several times of the pattern repeating itself, where there's outright hatred for me being gay, ignoring all the other good things I've done. I think my hesitation and prejudice is quite justified.
It's not inflexible, but there's an *extremely* strong level of caution because they instantly see gay == some flamer degenerate.
