As it was explained to me, the argument back in June was that it made sense to promise to prop up the Libs for stability during ongoing Covid but not forever.

I know home-schooled kids now attending Harvard. I know of semi-home schools - a bunch of parents form their own home school w semi-classroom conditions and get education funding to do so - that are brilliant.
Unlike the US where home-schooling is primarily religion-based, home schools in Canada are more-likely based on achieving better education standards - a bit like the motive behind private schools but you don't need to be rich to do it.

Posted the Steelworkers letter bc altho the narrative is that the NDP is supported by industry & labour, here we have a union letter in BC purportedly saying : we're not asking people to join up and stay as NDP members; just stay long enough to vote to keep someone more progressive from getting in and to push back on the green agenda.

Christy Clark joined the federal Conservative Party 2 years ago. Before Falcon folded, BC United/Libs candidates say they received calls from Clark urging them to join the BC Cons in order to beat the NDP.
It's possible Rustad might step aside for her after the election regardless of how it goes and then the BC Con/Libs would once again be led by Christy Clark. Just my opinion.

Some of the Longest Ballot People are engaged & effective community activists on their chosen issues - it's just they've just given up on achieving their goals thru electoral politics or the idea that Canadians want any change to the system that isn't working for them now.

The Longest Ballot Committee is the most own-goal scoring PR campaign I've ever heard of because long & confusing ballots is one of the main talking points anti-PR campaigns use to reject PR.
That said, they've participated in 5 elections so far - 3 won by the Libs, one won by the Greens, and one won by the Cons.
