Danielle Smith’s problem is the TMX pipeline carrying crude oil and refined petroleum products such as jet fuel, gasoline, and diesel from Edmonton to Vancouver was completed by Justin Trudeau and the federal government.

CBC has good reporters who write good stories, but something's gone catastrophically wrong with CBC's rudder.
The tipping point for me was when CBC had rw pollsters on the news 3 times a week for months as 'analysts' saying Trudeau was hooped and must resign, with no evidence for this POV *at all* other than rw pollsters and the pundits who believed them - pollsters who were also actively boosting Poilievre on their own twitter accounts.

Going in to this elxn, the NDP had 24 seats - 13 of which were in BC. They lost 10 out of 13 seats in BC due to the pressure to strategically vote Liberal to keep out the Cons. This pressure was evident even in ridings the Libs had never won.

Congrats to Cowichan—Malahat—Langford BC - who voted strategically and elected Kibble, the Con candidate who skipped the all-candidate meetings in favor of doing townhalls instead with his hunting Trump buddy because, as said Trump buddy explained to his fans on his social media account, the CPC does not allow Con candidates to do all candidates meetings.

BC lost 10 out of 13 longtime NDP seats in the "everyone vote for Carney no matter what" fervor - some of which elected a Lib for the first time in decades and some of which just split the vote to allow in a Con fir the first time.
I wonder if this is a one-time Trump-driven anomaly, or the logical outcome of a voting system that always eventually devolves into 2 parties.

Of the 122 federal ridings in Ontario, SmartVoting says the strategic voting choice in 120 of them is Liberal.
They only don't recommend voting Lib twice -choosing the NDP in London-Fanshawe and Green in Kitchener Centre. 2 out of 122.
Even in ridings with an NDP incumbent where the Lib came second - like in Windsor West or Hamilton Centre or Kapuskasing - they still say to strategically vote Lib to keep out the Cons. 👀

They changed the title "51st State : A Cross-Border Conversation" after several thousand BueSky posters ratio-ed Hanamansing on his account there.

Nothing. And then we try not to exacerbate the conditions that led to the formation of the cult in the first place.
The left is failing because it fragmented into personal grievance cultures that prioritized those cultures over addressing the more difficult macroeconomic crises that are affecting everyone.
Trans rights are baseline vital; they are not an excuse to ignore broader social inequalities.
