Yeah, the number of Nostr apps is also strikingly huge. There's a ton of junk and crap in there. You have to be careful about what you authorize in the Signer app and always pay close attention.

No. Actually, I suddenly had an empty npub with no profile or name in the list. I don't know yet how that could have happened. Maybe it was caused by some app. I can't figure it out right now. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

The strictly conservative outlook on life held by many people means clinging to old traditions and customs—in other words, stagnation rather than progress. They believe that progress is a technological phenomenon and that social diversity—and thus life and its natural unfolding—is a threat. We are currently seeing the results of this worldwide, because conservative movements dominate. They view freedom and equality as something communist.

#truth #one #philosophy #42
The universe generates creation and this only in order to be able to perceive itself. Reflection (mirror image) and mirror are created tools, created by the universe to view virtual images of itself, in an infinite, eternal regress. Without separation, the cosmos cannot experience itself. God is solitary and creates himself. Infinity and eternity are synonyms. Eternity is what we were before we were born and will be again after we die. But this description is only a view of the time-dependent mind. Language and mind will never be able to describe noumenon. How unspeakably ludicrous is it to believe, that a human was not "here" for 13.8 billion years, and after that to be born as existence, only to be "gone" again after a paltry time, of perhaps 80 years of life? And then, finally be away for 600 trillion x 50 trillion years -or forever- again? Only the human mind can come up with such an absurd idea.

2026-03-22 12:46:49 UTC

This guy is completely incompetent and mentally unstable. Anyone who doesn't realize that is beyond help. Ever since surviving that assassination attempt, he's also come to believe he's been chosen by God. He's actually a kind of Western, populist mafia mullah.

#philosophy #consciousness
~ Fictitious will ~
Consciousness is the state of an individual that is consciously experienced by the individual and can be reported verbally. The so-called will, however, is determined by unconscious brain processes. The conscious will alone cannot bring about any action, but the cortex of the brain is involved in unconscious functions and the so-called will then arises subsequently on the basis of biochemical, non-experienced and previous processes in the brain. The main players in decision-making in the human brain are the limbic system, the hippocampus as the unconscious organiser of declarative memory and the so-called basal ganglia. The argument that the will has a kind of veto function in the initiation of actions, which leads to an action initiated by the brain being cancelled, is also determined in advance by unconscious algorithms. The fictitious possibility of a veto is also only made available to the conscious mind afterwards

2026-03-21 20:09:57 UTC

#philosophy #illusion
~ Humanity ~
Man is a species with a self-reflective but very limited mind. The only difference to the postulated animal is the reflective function of the brain, which is nested within itself and is called the conscious self. This function is precisely an image with the help of which the mind is used to perform separations in time or a set. Boundaries are set, categorised and compared. Data is restructured and rearranged in time in order to re-evaluate a different result. A huge regression, a constant restructuring and reorganisation of data. This is, of course, a remarkable ability that has helped mankind to develop very far technologically. However, if I may say so, humanity is certainly not the crown of creation. But to expect 8 billion units of biomatter to be able to recognise this clearly is adventurous. It would be as pointless as it would be to make claims about existing stones. The world is a product and therefore the producer must take care of the world and not a part of the product (Ramana Maharshi). This wisdom is hard to swallow, especially for people from a western culture. The mind fights tooth and nail against the ultimate loss of control that comes with natural determinism. The problem with the vast majority of people is not their incompetence, but the arrogance with which they constantly reaffirm their ignorance. There have already been 5 mass extinctions, perhaps humans are causing the sixth. It remains to be seen whether mankind is really in a position to prevent this mass extinction in a spirit of solidarity and renunciation. Perhaps human nature is also designed in such a way that it is inevitably heading in this direction. Perhaps, in this sense, a new reset is not the worst option.

The fact is that more and more AI-generated content is flooding social media channels. This includes Nostr, even though its fans and creators often like to distance themselves from social media. An ever-smaller portion of what we see is real, and this trend is rising sharply. Ironically, this might just be the solution, because the more such AI content floods Nostr and all channels, the more irrelevant it becomes. Out of social media, into real life. In the long run, the virtual world is becoming less and less important precisely because of the use of AI-generated content.

This has little to do with religion, but rather with a thirst for power and violence. In this sense, Islam was more advanced than Europe in terms of civilization in the early Middle Ages. Mathematics, astronomy, etc. Then they were crushed by force by the European backwoodsmen. This has been a constant back and forth over the centuries. Two steps forward, one step back, and so on.

I don't know what you want from me. 98% of network traffic from Nostr is spam and junk. You don't understand what this is about. I'm not particularly interested in Bitcoin payment stuff. Nostr is a Bitcoin nerd niche and will always remain so. Non-Bitcoin nerds don't want to know anything about Nostr because they use Bluesky or Mastodon. Spam and crap It is already being looped through to other networks by bridges. Mostr and chat servers do not make it any better. Free relays are not a problem because you do not have to use them. It is that simple.

2025-11-30 05:23:46 UTC

- reply

However, 98% of the content generated is meaningless. The countless Hetzner servers (Hetzner is just one example; I will likely block their network range) that generate hello world chats and bots are also quite bothersome. The issue is that an almost infinite number of keys can be created without any reference.

I didn't say that I was interested in the number of followers. So why is the number displayed at the top center of the main bar if it's not important? Not so easily. You need access to the .well-known folder in your web space. It could be due to which relays you have specified there.
Step 1: The first step is to enter your hosting or web server using Filezilla, an FTP client that allows you to transfer files from your computer to your hosting server. Once you're logged in, navigate to the public_html folder and create a new folder called ".well-known."
Step 2: Now that you have created the ".well-known" folder, you need to create a file called "nostr.json" inside it. Open a text editor on your computer and paste the following code:
{ "names": { "Ape-or-whatever":"288bd824120fef4503f1494788bfcfd21d23596869031e875063ce360f821c57"},
"relays": { "288bd824120fef4503f1494788bfcfd21d23596869031e875063ce360f821c57":
[ "wss://yourhomerelay1", "wss://yourhomerelay2" ]
}
}

2025-11-16 06:34:28 UTC

- reply

Maybe it's because of which relays you specified in the .json file.
{ "names": "" }, "relays": { "xx": [ "wss://blabla dot foo", "wss://blubblubb dot foo" ] } }

so true ...
Madhouse
I am for religiosity, but not for religions. True religion can only be one, like science. There is no such thing as Mohammedan physics, Hindu physics, Christian physics! That would be sheer nonsense. But that is exactly what the organised religions have managed to do: they have turned the world into a madhouse.

Yeah, and what's so special about that? I pay with Bitcoin, Monero, and fiat currency—it's all the same shit. I don't care how it gets there, I just want the damn goods. Everything is so great, Bitcoin is so awesome, Americans say the US is great, Russians say Russia is great, Chinese say China is great. Blah!! 🥵🤢

The Earth is around 4.6 billion years old. To better understand this, let's shorten this period to 46 years. The early years are shrouded in the mists of time; it was only at the age of 42 that it began to blossom. After about 44 years, dinosaurs populated the planet. Just under eight months ago, the first mammals evolved, and over the course of the last week, hominid beings emerged. Modern humans have only been around for four hours. Sixty minutes ago, they learned agriculture, and one minute ago, the industrial revolution began. In these last sixty seconds, humans have turned Gaia into a rubbish dump, wiped out thousands of plant and animal species, killed hundreds of millions of their own kind, plundered the planet's raw material reserves, poisoned the soil, air and water, and burdened future generations with radioactive waste.

Nonsense. Registration registers and identity cards have been standard elsewhere for decades. Digital ID in the UK is just a kind of smartphone identity card. It has nothing to do with ID verification on the internet or for online services.

They just want to drive people crazy with posts like that. If anything, EVERYONE who uses Facebook, Twitter, etc. would have to confirm their identity, but that is currently completely impossible in terms of resources and technology. Every post along these lines is only intended to stir people up. If you don't want to reveal your identity, then you simply don't do it, and that's that.

Who the hell is it that always wakes up? Who is it supposed to be who is allegedly capable of awakening?
