Went on @nprofile…7xz7 today and found a burger place that accepted Bitcoin.
The last verified transaction was in May. However when I got there, they told me they used to accept Bitcoin but no longer do. 😥

This guy is a legit cypherpunk worth following.
He's done lots of software projects with bcash, but has been dabbling in nostr for a while, and recently downloaded the Phoenix and minibits lightning wallets. ⚡⚡

Funny though, I already read Roger's book on the topic, and it was more convincing of the opposite of the narrative he was trying to push in it.

I think we're almost out of that phase though. At some point, governments will find it in their best interest to add Bitcoin to their balance sheets. I think they'll still go hard after some of the ETH stuff though.

Lightning is even better than using low fee altcoins because there's the exchange fees both ways, "will I need another coin for my other store?", and more price volatility.

The more pools that filter out inscriptions, the cheaper regular transactions get, and the more expensive inscriptions get.

Just limit your lightning node to one channel with a bigger provider.
The purpose is just to have an address you can receive payments anytime.
