If he claimed to be the next Bill Nye The Science Guy or some astrophysicist or whatever, I’d question his competence in that specific field. But regarding his mitochondrial and light theories, it’s related to his specialized work that he’s been doing for decades, so that seems to check out. It even aligns with some old alchemical principles I keep on stumbling upon. His most common sources are Robert Otto Becker, Luc Montagnier and Viktor Schauberger were all geniuses in various fields - they probably all believed the globe theory and other stuff I don’t align with.
I’d trust a well-read Christian with a Bible quote but I wouldn’t let them near brain surgery unless I knew it was their profession. Hope this makes sense.

Most criticism of Jack Kruse is either blatantly ignorant of what he’s saying or just obvious personal dislike of the way he behaves.
Ever since stumbling upon his Decentralized Medicine talk (some Urbit event at the end of 2023 iirc?) I’ve been listening to lots of his talks and interviews and I’ve dedicated a significant amount of hours into researching his claims. While some connections he makes are circumstantial (as they usually are when it comes to these things), the grander narrative is plausible and internally consistent. The Epstein files gave even more credence to his claims because they highlighted connections that previously were much more difficult to discover.
I don’t have any idols. I wouldn’t want to have him as a friend because he seems to be quite arrogant and selfabsorbed. Since I don’t have to spend time with him, why would I care? Show me where he’s been proven wrong. Or where he stands to profit from any of his claims. Or when he shilled dubious products.
Personal attacks are just lazy tells that you’ve either been spooked by some terminology also used by supposedly loonies you don’t want to be associated with or that you just can’t stand the guy.
Sad to see such low effort ad hominem shit on nostr of all places.

Just continued reading Magliabechiano by Martino Martini from the 1600s and stumbled upon mentions of Nestorian Christians living in China (or Tartaria). It’s full of interesting little aspects. All sourced by mostly Society of Jesus (aka Jesuit) members preaching in the area, though.

Turns out, this video is sourced by Turris Babel, written by another Jesuit named Athanasius Kircher who… also was among the first to write about Chinese culture around the same time.
Well, his calculations aren’t all that reliable and he thought that the Tower of Babel, as described by Nimrod, would be so big and heavy that it would’ve forced a tilt of the globe earth. He was also a proponent of germ theory and wearing masks during the plague.

I suspect that the Tower of Babel never had any intentions of physically reaching “the heavens” - it was more likely built to open a portal there using fringe energy (probably in relation to ley line positioning and stuff like that).

I don’t see how it’s a company’s responsibility to fill the role of the parents. Parents could easily setup notification silences during school hours, lock down social media accounts to enforce follow requests, etc. Without digital ID they have no way to differentiate between adult/minor accounts in a reliable manner so I don’t see how that would’ve worked.
Child protection is and has always been a ruse to increase surveillance or else Meta/Facebook would’ve been sued into oblivion once they started do run psychology experiments on their users in 2012(!).

I’ve been to many restaurants and cafes all over Germany and Europe and I’ve actually had the opposite experience most of the time. Even during stressful times staff was mostly friendly or even kind and patient. Well, except for Berlin. Berlin kinda prides itself for the “special” Berlin-treatment in gastronomy.

Thanks, I’m aware of that I have had my share of ticks already. Guess I didn’t take my time as I should have this time.
Unfortunately I don’t trust doctors since the COVID times. To my knowledge there’s no pharma product that helps against lyme disease anyways?
I’ll just wait and see. But since removing the head I’ve been feeling well again and there’s no swelling or coloration.

Found a tick on my leg today. Pried it off with tweezers. All good until a few hours ago when I felt as I if I was getting a cold or something. Weird twitches that felt like bites or stings but I found nothing. Then I remembered the tick, put light on the spot and noticed a small piece of if it still being in there. Got that out as well and I'm in much better shape already.

Imagine looking at just the photos alone and being asked what may have happened there or why there were no locally unique designs w/r/t architecture and decoration. Stumbled upon 2 alleged Digital Cinema Package rips lately and judging by the video quality, I wasn’t convinced about the actual video sources being DCP. One was of Project Hail Mary, the other Mortal Kombat. The latter gave me reason to research because it reminded me more of the better telesyncs back in the day than some digitally capured material. So far DCP seems to remain unchallenged. The power of encryption. Regardless, they really rank among the best telesyncs I’ve seen in terms of video quality, warping and angles.

I get woken up by a call by our panicked and angry technical sales dude, asking why I’m not yet in a customer call he scheduled. I’m completely panicked for a second, then my brain reminds me of it being Friday.
I tell him that I’ve never been on duty on a Friday unless previously agreed upon, that I don’t remember having spoken about any meetings today, that my calendar was empty (after I checked it), I never received an invite for any event today (confirmed on the spot as well), that my calendar availability would always indicate during event creation that it’s outside my working hours. I asked if he received any confirmation from my side in his calendar app - I didn’t get a non-evading answer, so course he just fucked up himself and is now trying to cover his ass.
He’s the only member of our team who consistently pulls shit like this. Tries to Slack call me while I’m in another meeting, never gets back to me when I ask him what the call was about. Then tries to call again an hour or so later, often during lunch. Never acknowledges any feedback I provide to the brittle processes he keeps on coming up with, never accepts any suggestions of mine in shared documents.
After an already stressful week I was really looking forward to my weekend and now my brain has been on alarm for an hour since getting woken up. I’m done with his shit. I’ll deal with this on Monday by mail and CC by boss and let him handle this. My patience is depleted.

I don't think I like the idea of subscribing to and sharing block lists from individuals being a feature of nostr. It reminds me of the slow asphyxiation of dissenting voices on Mastodon when instances started sharing and building their own little echo chambers by sharing block and defederation lists.
Say relay runners used something like that for spam prevention, I'd be fine with that since I don't need to post to relays abusing it to replicate what killed the Fediverse for me, if some did. If a significant amount of relays were to start doing that, that'd kill nostr for me as well.
Nostr will probably see some growth in the coming years so we should expect influential people to land here at some point who might have bigger funding behind them who will try to grab some of these new eyeballs and bind them to their views, so they don't get exposed to the core nostr user groups and their narratives that contradict the clown world. It'll be a death by a thousand cuts and all these new nostr users won't even know what it's all about. Just another service with a fancy UX, perhaps even shitcoin "zapping" with some fancy on brand term.
Nostr should be the go to place for seekers of sovereignty and to me that stands in opposition to outsourcing the decision of what one gets to expose themselves to anyone else.

Matrix is a shit protocol with shit clients that barely works that's a thousandfold more complex than all of nostr combined. Telegram groups can even be read-restricted based on your geographic location. Same probably applies to Whatsapp - no idea. Mailinglists are are either centralized as fuck or your gonna find out that most of your Gmail/Hotmail recipients will never see your mail because they claim it's spam.
I'm really not getting your point here. All platforms you mentioned are easily censored and access-restricted and often require some form of KYC (even if it's just a valid mobile number making you easier to identify).
Maybe nostr just really isn't for you - who am I to judge. But maybe you're just overestimating the complexity of the protocol here.

Sending an email will always be equal to sending a post card unless you use e2e using PGP or S/MIME. Everything else is just some legal policy or an expectation to rely on. Once you cross your own country's legal boundaries, it'll get difficult to enforce any of that so you're basically left with hoping that the recipient will treat your report the way you expect them to. Expecting any sort of privacy using a medium that's cleartext by design is an obvious mistake to make.
I get you're explicitly speaking from your perspective of a relay runner but it's been quite common for such requests to be shared with the party getting reported.
I've been following both Will and Grinder and I have nothing against any of them, so I'll just keep on doing so.

I only know of Proton Docs/Sheets that fit the e2e requirement. Haven't used both of them exhaustively though.
