actually yes. I remember vaguely that 10 years is the break even point? But no facts to back it up just some vague memories... :)

First time making lahmacun, a kind of Turkish pizza with a ground lamb / beef topping with chopped onions, tomatoes and peppers and a lot of spices. Been at least 30 years since I last ate one. Very good, will do again.

too many to be in a constant state of seriousness. We prepare, we ride em out, we make clever comments when we get interrupted by a little shaking. And we know, one day our preparation will be needed and there most likely won't be any place online where we can chat about it. I think it's a pretty healthy approach. And yes, hard to understand for anyone not living through it day in and out. :)
