As far as I understand this section and other speech limiting laws, also affecting Koreans, are relicts from the war and dictatorships. As usual it's easier to create such laws than to remove them so it takes time and has to get the support of nationals for that to happen. I hope this attempt will succeed.

In #Korea ‘No foreigner sojourning in the Republic of Korea shall engage in any political activity with the exception of cases provided for by this Act or other Acts.’ as per Article 17(2) of the Immigration Control Act.
This may hopefully change depending on the outcome of a constitutional complaint by Open Net, together with Law Firm Innovation, seeking a declaration of unconstitutionality of Article 17(2).

Nearly four decades ago #BillG promised Andre Warufsel and me to send us the source code of his #Basic4K for the #MITS #Altair. He never did and @npub1zfd…f725 described one of my repeted reminders as 'winning last week's Stalking Bill Gates challenge'.
Three days ago he did eventually publish a scan of the source code on his blog.

I misremembered. The booklet I was thinking of is of palindromic translations.
An Oulipian homophonic translation I really like is that by François Le Lionnais of John Keats:

There are some wonderful homophonic translations.
The Humpty Dumpty one is a classic:

The Oulipo also published some. I think I have somewhere (though can’t find it at the moment) a short booklet of homophonic translations by Luc Etienne (though I may be confused with Perec). I need to find it!
