This is not Nazi Germany. I do not care if every single elected Democrat backs the führer. The last thing I want is some sort of public loyalty check. What I care about is making sure that come November, everyone gets off their asses and votes for the person we can actually negotiate with. Because that's what voting is, you are not voting for the perfect candidate. The perfect candidate doesn't exist. You vote for the person you want to negotiate with, the one who starts closest to your values.
