One thing I absolutely agree with @npub1zzy…9edy on is that all verification should be is a recognition that the account is what it says it is.
There's no endorsement in that.
Verification is VITAL is safety alerts for example. You'd absolutely want to know it's a real account telling you to evacuate a flood zone for example.

I've lived in both Phoenix and Kuwait City.
It's weird how the body adjusts. In Kuwait at night I'd wear a winter coat because it had dropped 50 degrees F from the high (it was still almost 70F)

It's a big part of my role, we get about 50% opens weekly. Basically I read everything I can that leaders who we'd sell our product to would be reading and pick the top links. Sometimes I drop things in that are relevant but unknown though. Weather, natural threats, human threats, tech, social media changes are the main topics.
