When I was in the hospital I was watching a lot of the international news station from Singapore called Channel News Asia. And they do those travel show things where they have a host person who is good at making cute comments and talks to the locals about whatever and shows local sites and talks a little about the history, you know those types of travel shows that are always on when youre in an airport or a hotel.

We had some that were green before, before it turns orange, she cooked it with some vegetables and it was good. We hadnt had it when it was orange yet though. Very delicious, sweet but not overwhelmingly so. To the right of the concrete cylinder in the photo below are two flower sprouts growing, that's where their resting places are. So yea I have pretty much been crying sporadically all day lol

We are in the middle of a massive storm right now, seriously. It is 6:10 am here in Thailand, still pitch black outside, the rain coming down like crazy. I am just hoping the power stays on! The Bills Lions game is on and the tv is like 4 feet away from me and I can't even hear the volume. We have been having a tropical storm situation here for the last 5 days or so, non-stop rain. We will take pics of her and post them in local groups to see if she is a lost cat. So now we have six former street cats who live with us. When you purchase art from me, it helps my wife and I to give street cats a better life. We go around the neighborhood several times a week and feed street cats & dogs who live in different spots as well. Brownie has been getting along well with our other cats. She is really relaxed and has a calm disposition

Here is our new cat, her name's Brownie. She just showed up one day and was hanging out with our cats and she looked kind of exhausted so we started feeding her and she hung around and has been with us about a week or so. She didnt have a collar on her or anything.

These three #quilts have been posted over the last two days and I have had zero people inquire about them. Really disappointing! My mom was really excited about these new ones she created & she called me earlier and asked about them and unfortunately I had to tell her that so far Ive received no messages or interest in them at all. I remember the first time Image Comics came out and they were the first to be digitally colored and it was really mesmerizing seeing all of them have such a new look to them, it was really exciting. And then very soon after Marvel and DC started doing the digital coloring too. The colors on early issues of Spawn, WildCATS, Cyber Force, and Pitt were really mind-blowing back in 1993 lol

Now because I have this new thing I am trying to doing where if I say something negative about a thing, I have to balance it out with something positive. And this is the positive part, this newest Red Lobster commercial. One of my absolute favorite things to eat is probably pizza from Pizza Hut after its been in the fridge all night. No microwave, no warming it up in the oven for a few minutes, I like it straight -up cold and stiff just like it is. And I'll wash it down with soda too, bright & early!

I tried to sell art on instagram a few years ago and sold like, nothing. Pretty much all my followers were bot accounts selling t-shirts and sunglasses. That site sucks. Everyone told me 'You gotta put this on instagram! You gotta get yourself an instagram account!' And then I did and started posting stuff and was hit with a tidal wave of spam garbage.

I think you had trouble understanding the rules because it was so much easier than magic lol I never played magic, I tried once and got overwhelmed and all the kids at the table were getting so irritated with me. Im not fun to play cards with lol It was a decent game but there was only so much that could be done with it. Thanks for the suggestion. I feel like I have a hard time remembering what all of these websites do exactly cause they all have the same kind of weird names and a lot of them I see commercials for and stuff but have no idea what they are or what service they provide, you know what I mean? Like all of a sudden there will be a commercial for something called 'Grrp' orwhatever and they will tell me what their site does but my brain never pprocesses it lol

I have not yet tried fiverrrr.com lol I will give it a shot and check it out though. Ive heard of it bit dont know anything about it. To be honest, tons of sites and stuff I have heard of but have no idea what they are. Like I have no idea what 'discord' is. Or twitch or anything. I know it has something to do with a webcam I think but thats it. Like I have very little interest in the internet and what other people are doing on it.

Not one job asking for someone who can do handmade artwork, like portraits and stuff. It was just jobs in creating 3D digital stuff and VR rendering and things called 'figmas'. I literally had no idea what any of this shit is lol I went to college with the intention of working in magazines or publishing after college, that was my life plan or whatever when I was young. But that whole industry was dying out literally as I was studying to work in it after graduated

Yea I havee zero desire to be in sales or even in business. I wish I could just make the stuff and have someone with a gallery or a some kind of distributor do it for me and I could just make the stuff. I would be able to produce so much more art if I had 75% of the time in my workday to devote to making more stuff. It is good that you know about computers (Im sure youve heard that ad nauseum your whole life lol) but my ignorance and inability to do tech stuff has hindered me a lot

I honestly hate being a salesman, being a salesman is like 75 percent of the job, creating the art is the easy part. Yea FB. I absolutely hate it, it's like so annoying and terrible but I did manage to get tons of customers through there. I used to post in local buy and sell groups but now I get flagged for spamming and banned from buy and sell groups cause Im over here in Thailand posting ads for portraits in local buy and sell groups in Nebraska or New Mexico or wherever. And I met tons of people that way. I am not a scammer but had to use scammer/spammer methods to reach customers. So annoying

Yea and a huge devastating thing for me is some algorithm that FB changed. I have noticed in the last few years that some algorithm changed and people outside of the USA's posts don't show up on peoples screens over in the USA like they did before. I used to get like 20, 50, 100 people to see stuff I post and now its like, 2, 5, 12 people. Whatever changed that was made totally has starved me out over here

One of my Facebook profiles I use to sell art on, like at least half the notifications I get are Keanu Reeves-related. Sometimes they are telling me that it is his birthday, or a quote that he never said, something super perceptive-sounding but with a bit of sass to it, superimposed over a photo of him looking brooding and thoughtful, or a notification asking me which film of his was my favorite, or clips of his movies. Like wtf. I have nothing at all against Keanu Reeves but this is too much.

Like, I am not able to do anything that brings me joy anymore. From the moment I wake up until I go to bed I am either working on artwork or trying to sell artwork and just feel trapped over here. Its hard being over here cause I cant just get a job at a supermarket and move back in with my mom or get work with my uncle installing air conditioners. If I dont sell art, I starve on an island. It's such a severe penalty for not selling art that it is almost like, funny, it's absurd lol

Yea I havent been like, this depressed since I was in my early 20s, before I got diagnosed with bipolar disorder and began to figure out the source of a lot of my mental issues. But anyway, the combination of homesickness being overseas since 2005 and my bipolar disorder and losing both our chihuahuas and my wife constantly crying about losing her dogs and her being worried about money and my own neglect of my own mental well-being has just made me feel so powerless and weak.

Yea I am so tired of all the suffering my dogs and cats are going through this month. We are not even really able to care for him yet because in the next few weeks he will need his tail amputated and I have no idea where it is going to come from. I hate to be all doom and gloom but this is a really awful time for my family. It's just one awful thing after another these days. I feel so powerless, my self-esteem or whatever is like, non-existent. Im just like in a fog, totally numb.

Besides eating ramen noodles and watching an entire re-play of a preseason game between cleveland and seattle from start to finish on my birthday, my wife and I took one of our cats, Batman, to the vet. He came into our house in the morning to get breakfast and her tail had been broken and was just hanging. Most likely he was hit by a motorcycle. We got him x-rayed and it showed the nerve has been severed totally and at some point in the near future he will need to have his tail amputated.
