When I sign up for being on a TestFlight for an app, I understand that the deal is I have to expect bugs, strange behaviour, and mess with the interface to help the developer make the best app.
I really quite enjoy doing it.
Today's the first day I've come to regret it. 100% data loss within an app.
I've *never* seen that happen before.
Fortunately, I have most of the data backed up elsewhere. Nothing *important* has been lost, just … inconvenient.

Some of these rogue stars are moving at crazy speeds, hundreds of KMs/second, so time dilation effects would show. The civilization would be limited to their solar system too. 🤔

Nine thousand, eight hundred, and sixty-two days ago (27 years {3^3}), I married my best friend, @nprofile…ejjl.
I've been fortunate to spend more than half my life with someone who has made me a better person, and I wouldn't change a thing.
We're both not “normal" in any sense, and so fortunate to have found each other.
It was a pretty great day - we got married at Winterlude (#Ottawa's winter festival), by a German ice castle, and spent an afternoon playing pool with family & friends.

There are some tax advantages (we’re both in 🇨🇦) to buying a computer in the last days of the year, so that’s worth considering.
Don’t forget to check the Apple refurb store- same warranty, less expensive.
I lease my machines, which is also handy, by making hardware upgrades regular.

@nprofile…args I haven't completely pried myself off Audible, but I’ve started to. I pick up audiobooks from libro.fm (lots of audiobooks in non-DRM formats). I’ve also started converting my existing Audible books to AAC with https://www.ondesoft.com/audiobook_converter/ (doesn't work on anything you can't download).

I don’t know when this feature showed up in @npub1rky…0xq2, but I noticed it today - the ability to add a user to a list and hide them from the main timeline, cutting down on duplicate posts! 🎉
