When you don't understand how anything works everything is a conspiracy. I think a better question, one based in reality, is why do leftists always try to convince people that both sides are the same?
They're either too privileged to tell the difference or pro MAGA. I suspect the former, but I also suspect some are bad actors.

Tell that classicism is the only real war to the disproportionate number of people of color in prison for drugs, to the LGBTQ kids who can't play little league sports, to the black and brown immigrants being hunted down by ICE agents, to the women who get paid 80 cents on the dollar, to the 99% of stop and frisk victims of color who had their fourth amendment rights violated, etc...
