I think immunities are finally getting to where Covid isn't as big a risk, BUT I also think immunities to other respiratory illnesses have fallen. I got a cold just from going to a small Friendsgiving with not very many people. I think masks while traveling are still a necessity and I tend to just follow three Cs and mask in closed in, crowded or close contact spaces.

I just got some good hair styling scissors and cut my own but it's not for everyone. it's not fancy but it looks decent, i even get compliments on it. But it would be nice to be able to get haircuts and other services again without people being assholes about it.

I recently hosted a lovely trans girl whose mom had told her she would "never be as good as me" and pretty much turned her into a slave doing housework and chores. She got tired of the abuse at home and came to stay with us. We fixed up her car and helped her make a new start.
Not the first rescue we've done from a conservative family either. I'm so sick of their fake superiority and abuse of their very own children.

Grandfather found out he could get control of the money. And then wouldn't pay for the housing out of it, so nephew became homeless. I don't know what he did with the money. So that's kind of the point, covering housing has to be first or people end up homeless. Either through lack of $$ or just not prioritizing the housing expense first.

yes and no.
My nephew was fine as long as we had a fiduciary to handle his money, kept him in housing, gave him enough cash to get through the week and buy groceries. When his grandfather found out he could get control of the money, it all went to hell and my nephew ended up homeless. So it's not just "give them money", it's sometimes control how it gets spent too.
