Does any one know whether Claude Mythos was shared with the CPython team to check for issues before its impending release? How about with web framework teams like FastAPI, Flask, Pydantic, etc? Web server projects like nginx?

Yeah, that's for sure. I basically disabled "Cursor tab" or whatever it's called and didn't use an autocomplete from it (used Pyrefly for that actually).
I just made a detailed markdown plan, then had the agentic AI with sonnet-4 work it step by step. Took awhile but got there!

Need some advice:
I'm looking for an open source text-to-speech library I can run locally or in a server. I needs to be pretty pleasant to listen to even if generation takes a bit longer. Ideally #python as the language but I'm open to looking around.
Recommendations? Found StyleTTS2 so far.

Thanks! Never thought about that angle. Just spot check it doesn’t seem to bother the server if it runs indefinitely. Just runs docker ps, docker stats, etc over and over. :)

I never really thought about it before. But maybe Django should encourage starting the way Flask does with 8 lines of code.
Then later showing people who to do things like add an admin backend/app or add a database as needed. Maybe even have something in the manage.py script being able to add features by request rather than all at once.

Sidebar: I think this ugly habit of stuffing everything into one huge file comes from people using editors that are much better at jumping around a single file rather than holding them all in view as a coherent whole (think emacs vs. pycharm). (3/3)

I know the hello world visions of Flask are ridiculously simple. Though I’ve never been inspired by them. They always feel like they are selling you a world that is overly simplified. One example is putting the views into the same file as the app startup. They should be using blueprints from the start to avoid creating single 2,000 line app files. (1/3)

Hey team #python. I'm looking for some feedback / practical experience from you all.

Who’s using it? How reliable is it in the US? Been at Digital Ocean since forever. Now that Hetzner is in the US, I can get double the server for 1/3th (!) the price.
Is it all sunshine and rainbows or are the reasons to stay away?
