Not really. Wavlake adopted the category tag, implemented wrongly, but whatever, it works.
I rolled my own crowd sourced tagging system that also pulls in the WL categories.

This is the sorting algorithm that I use for music albums.
If there are S/E info I use that but only if it's consistent OR if there are pubDatess for all songs. Otherwise I fall back to the order they appear in the feed with the newest on top (reverse podcast order)
It appears that in Sovereign Feeds when you use the sort tool, SF removes the season / episode info and re-arranges the item in the feed.
pubDates are not useful in SF sorting

I haven't implemented any of the feature filtering.
One could easily say "Sorry your wallet does not support the protocols that we support. Consider connecting with one of these fine wallets..."
But the experience is slick and seems to be working well. Granted I've only tested it with NWC to my albyhub

Audio in Linux is perfectly useable for most use cases but I get not wanting to change. I'm not sure if mixxx would satisfy Adam's needs, probably not.
I have still yet to find a good jack soundboard
As for John cleanfeed works perfectly fine in Linux.

It's probably a misconfigured bot. If I were a scraper I would make my bot do it nicely so you wouldn't block it, but there are vibe coders / script kitties that make bots all the time

Is there some way that I can place both payment methods in my feed saying something like "Here are the ways I accept value. I prefer keysend but you can also send to lnAddress"?
That way there's a kind of transitionary system in place.
Like when PCs had usb ports as well as serial and parrallel.
VGA with an hdmi port, etc.
Eventually the standard was established and now most laptops only have USB.

Is this going to break my node which is hosted on StartOS?
From what I understand lnAddress needs a publicaly facing .well-known and StartOS does not support clearnet.
I understand that I can ( and do) use Albyhub. Which works but that's another middleman to rely on.
I'd rather keep the middlemen to a min.
Being a part of the lightning protocol keysend doesn't have this limitation.
I will make the change but only as a last resort.

Shouldn't their contents be the same for both tags?

Why would I want either tag to contain anything different?
I understand having both for compatibility reasons, though feed bloat is a thing.

I will likely not be doing a Lightning Thrashes Live show tonight.
Since the leaves gave grown in I'm experiencing a lot of connectivity issues with Starlink.
I may move my receiver but it will take a lot of effort to do, so it may not get done 🙂
On a positive note I did sign up for Gigabit Fiber for $20 cheaper than Starlink 🙂 It just may take 60+ days before it gets here. 🙁

I recommend all artists follow such a model.
It really helps keep the index from being polluted with tons of feeds and it makes feed management a LOT easier for the artist.
Updating feeds when the wallet du jour decides to change how things are done.

How about we just put the boostagrams inside the invoice.
They were never meant to be a method of mass communication.
The semi private nature of current TLVs is s feature, not a bug.
If listeners want to have a conversation they can easily do that with their chat app of choice.
Or whatever discussion protocol is specified in the RSS feed

I like the idea of being able to surface boostagrams to 3rd parties without them having to be in the splits.

If you move your feed to a new domain you can do a 301 redirect to the new feed.
If you cannot do a 301 eventually the index will notice the 404d feed and drop it.
Meanwhile you submit your new feed.
This is where the feedGuid shines!
This is handled every day by the index

True but with our proposed new system there are a lot more webservers involved.
Right now payments go directly to nodes, no web involved other the initial RSS feed and mp3 download

If I lost my domain and for whatever reason couldn't get it back.
I would just buy a different domain and setup my node to use the new domain.
Then update my options.json to reflect the change. (this is the primary reason the options file exists)

Is it showing the status of the node itself or just the status of your channels?
RTL provides the status of the channel.
I'm not sure if on my end or on @nprofile…mjk8 's end
Basically I don't want to bother people there's really nothing wrong in their end.

It there a way to tell if a node is down or not?
Does a command like nodeping <publicKey> exist?
Occasionally channels on my node becaome inactive and I'd like to try to troubleshoot as to why it happens.

Anyone have any insights as to whether or not lnurl will be able to work if a node is behind CGNAT?
I'm pretty sure it doesn't work over tor.

If you "hide it" try to do it in such a way that the user can "discover it" easily.
I'm not sure what that might look like but, over the years I've learned a lot by poking around and clicking on things.
Providing opportunities for sparking curiosity and education is a good thing.
Cool visuals of the channels, animations of the transactions that happen behind the scene. Things like that
IDK, it's just an idea.

If my node is not readily accessible on the clear net (behind tor)
My node is behind CGNAT so it's nearly impossible to have clear net access without a vpn

I reiterate.
Ultimately it doesn't matter what we use so long as:
1. Transactions are sent directly from the listener to the artist (no 3rd party handling the splits)
2. Everything is publicly transparent auditable.
3. Something like the current TLV system is in place providing relevant metadata
4. Cannot be a KYC only solution
Right now keysend meets these criteria. If your method of choice does not then it is sub-optimal.
I really feel this list is important to consider.
